I wish to express my deepest concerns about Russia’s attack on Ukraine, which has escalated into the suffering and loss of many civilians, including young children.

On behalf of Tokyo Metropolitan University (TMU), I fervently hope that the world soon becomes a place where human lives and human rights are protected.

We will provide necessary support to the TMU students, staff, and community affected by this crisis.
