In response to a bomb threat at 5:14pm January 14, we evacuated and imposed entry restrictions upon Minami-Osawa, Hino and Arakawa campuses after 3pm on Friday, January 14th. In collaboration with the local police departments, we conducted a search of the university and found nothing suspicious. We now confirm that it is safe to resume normal activities after 6:30 pm on Friday, January 14th.

Please note that the National Center Test for University Admissions for 2022 at Minami-Osawa campus of Tokyo Metropolitan University on Saturday, January 15 and Sunday, January 16, 2022 will be held as scheduled. Also, lectures, classes and office business on each campus shall be conducted as usual from Monday, January 17, 2022.
