Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs of Tomsk State University Viktor Dyomin and Tomsk State Government officials visited TMU Minami-Osawa Capmus, Tuesday, April 14, 2015 and met with TMU President Jun Ueno, Vice-President Mitsuru Ebihara, former Dean of the Faculty of Urban Liberal Arts Yutaka Okabe and Associate Professor of the Graduate School of Science and Engineering Department of Physics Sergey Ketov, a graduate from Tomsk State University.

  This visit took place in line with their visit to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government, however, the exchange efforts between Tomsk State University and TMU has been made through Assoc. Prof. Ketov. At the meeting both parties discussed possibilities to establish international exchange agreements. On the next day, Vice-Rector Dyomin visited Hino Campus and talked with Dean Yasuchika Mori and Professor Shigeru Aomura of the Faculty of System Design.

  This was a significantly meaningful visit for further promotion of Tomsk State University-TMU academic exchanges as well as Tomsk-Tokyo friendly relations.
