Synthesis of polymers using Acyclic Diene Metathesis Polymerization technique

研究テーマ

The precise synthesis of end-functionalized conjugated polymers/oligomers by olefin metathesis reactions was conducted. Step-wise synthesis of end-functionalized oligo(2,5-dialkoxy-phenylene-1,4-vinylene)s (OPVs, up to 31 repeat units) with precise repeating units by adopting a coupled olefin metathesis with Wittig-like coupling. Preparation of many low molecular weight gelators to be used in many applications,The synthesis of bio-based polymers by Acyclic Diene Metathesis polymerization using transition metal complexes. Also, try to get the high value-added polymers for covering a wide range of applications.
