School of Science and Engineering
A host of the world-class faculty members pursues professional education that foresees a graduate school.
The School of Science and Engineering was established in 2005 as a result of the reorganization of four predecessor universities supported by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government. It covers four academic fields related to natural science as well as two engineering sciences, namely, mathematical sciences, physics, chemistry, biological sciences, electrical & electronic engineering, and mechanical engineering. In each field, we investigate fundamental and challenging problems in science and technology. More than 110 professors lead our educational activities with the goal of stimulating the native talents of each student through a strong and systematic curriculum.
