TMU ranks 7th among Japanese Universities in the Times Higher Education World University Ranking

Tokyo Metropolitan University ranks 237th in the Times Higher Education World University Ranking 2011-2012 which was released on October 6, 2011. The ranking among Japanese Universities is 7th, behind University of Tokyo, Kyoto University, Tokyo Institute of Technology, Osaka University, Tohoku University and Nagoya University. The Times Ranking is based on indicators in Teaching, Research, Citations, Industry income, and International mix. It shows that our university is valued internationally.
