Three sectors for researching and studying the society, people and welfare through fieldwork.

This division offers programs in sociology, social anthropology and social welfare studies. Students are required to learn the basics of social studies and to further their study in one of the three fields they choose.

Sociology

community, networks, inequality, labor, ethnicity, gender, subculture.

Social Anthropology

anthropological studies (social and cultural), including ethnographical studies in Asia, Africa and other parts of the world.

Social Welfare

living environment, aging, social welfare policy, social work.
